Kent Among 2010's Top International Moving Companies
The Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) recognised Kent International Movers' industry expertise in the recently concluded Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs) held last October in New York City's Hudson Theatre.
- (1888PressRelease) February 24, 2011 - Kent International Movers is the runner-up for the International Moving Company of Year award, besting 350 other global mobility companies from 46 countries all over the world.
The FEM and EMMA
FEM President Brian Friedman said, "The EMMAs is like the Oscar Awards of the global mobility profession." He added that all EMMA nominees, including Kent International Movers, aim at minimising disruptions and maximising client satisfaction all throughout the relocation process.
Kent International Movers' EMMA award for International Moving Company of the Year category was based on its client-demonstrated reliability and aggregated customer satisfaction ratings.
More than just moving an object from point A to point B, the perfect company strategy in the global mobility business should take into account the need for a positive client experience.
The International Moving Company of the Year Runner-up award is a significant achievement indeed. However, Kent International Movers will not rest on its laurels as it continuously strives to obtain the top plum in 2011.
The Dilemma of International Moving
For an average person, moving materials from one location to another can be a very daunting task. Aside from having to make sure that nothing important is left behind, the next step - the transportation process itself - is very complicated.
A flurry of intricacies, arising from having to cross international borders, exacerbates the issue even further. That is why many individuals, businesses and government institutions approach global mobility providers.
However, with the sheer number of Australian companies that offer the international moving services, choosing the perfect one can be confusing. But then, international recognition from peers in the global mobility industry lets potential clients decide more easily.
Relocation Management Company of the Year
Kent International Movers was also short listed in another category: the Relocation Management Company of the Year. This award was handed to US-based Cartus Corporation.
Cartus is a provider of international moving services, catering to government entities, corporations and other affinity markets. Kent is affiliated with Cartus as one of its 40 offshore removalist providers.
This award was given to the company who had the most exemplary performance in all aspects of the global mobility business.
In its most recent Global Network Conference held in Seattle, Cartus gave Kent International Movers the Commitment to Excellence - Platinum award. This honour is given to Cartus providers who achieve a customer satisfaction rating of at least 95 percent, and Kent International Movers is one of them.
For the past year, Kent has consistently delivered to its promises by exceeding service expectations of more than nine out of every ten clients.
More than 180 international moving suppliers from more than 40 countries attended the Seattle convention.
Kent aims to soar even higher next year as it aims to achieve the top prize.
Kent is Australia's largest family-owned moving company. It specialises in all aspects of the global mobility business.
This Australian company has always been known for giving a premium to client satisfaction, delivering excellent results, and maintaining stellar employee relations and advocating green business practices.
These awards and citations are a great testament to that.
