That company has it's own brand of cookie dough products and will not be selling Ottis Spunkmeyer brand cookie dough after June 1, 2008.
For the schools and other non-profit groups that have been relied on the Otis Spunkmeyer brand for years, this comes as "not so happy" news. A school or group can spend years building a client base of satisfied customers and community goodwill, especially with a brand as well known as Otis Spunkmeyer. These groups are faced with either changing brands or products or finding a new supplier.
Fortunately, with the sale of Kathryn Beich, Otis Spunkmeyer has opened their line of products up to a select few other nationally recognized fundraising companies.
