April 23, 2007 - Kate Rizor, author of The Governor's Wife, will be at a book signing at a Royal Oak cafe in Michigan.
This city is considered to be an extended suburb of Detroit, Michigan but boasts all of its own facilities and a population of 60,000 people. Sweet Waters Cafe has extended its welcome to this author for May the 12th, where she will be hosting a book signing. She will be signing copies of her books and selling them, donating all one hundred percent of author proceeds to her charity of choice.
This event is in support of the SPCA, a charity that Ms. Rizor believes in deeply. As a dog lover, this author knows the real thing and has toured her local facilities. In particular, she is hoping to support the SPCA's efforts in attempting to block the destruction of animal habitat and their continued efforts to humanely care for animals and reunite them with their families or new families in the case of abandonment.
Last month, Ms. Rizor was present at a book signing April 14th at The Water Joint Coffee Shop in Kalamazoo, Michigan. At this event, she raised over 100 U.S. dollars for the charity. The head of the Southwest Michigan branch was on hand to also purchase a copy of her book.
"We hope people in Royal Oak will come out and support Ms. Rizor's book signing in Royal Oak," says the CEO of Stargazer Press. "Ms. Rizor is an impassioned animal lover. Go to her website and have a look at where her heart is and there on the home page you will see her dog at www.katerizor.com."
To find out more, please contact Kate Rizor through her website. She will be on hand from 11 in the morning until 1 p.m.. She hopes to break last month's record.
