February 08, 2008 - New York, NY- As Kameko prepares to release his debut album, Keys to Paradise (TarPaul Records) on early 2008, he is pleased to announce that he has hired WeRoqq Publicity and Promotion as his official agency of record. WeRoqq is dedicated to furthering Kameko’s career as he exposes his music to the world.

Kameko is introducing a new genre of music with his debut album, Keys to Paradise. That genre is Evalt (Evolutionary Alternative Music) that can be defined as a fusion of rock, pop, soul and hip-hop. “I was tired of feeling like I had to be grouped and categorized,” explains Kameko, “this is about moving beyond those divisive categories and just experiencing music, art, and life wherever it takes you.”
Kameko has performed worldwide, previously touring with artists such as Mary J Blige, Toni Braxton and Vanessa Williams. He has also collaborated with Erykah Badu and Lenny Kravitz.
Kameko flexes his acting muscles as well, winning The Apollo Theatre Competition and made his theatrical debut as The Scarecrow in the off-Broadway play, The Wiz. He also acted in NBC’s network series “Trinity.”
