May 21, 2008 - Chicago, IL – K101 Agency, a national public relations and marketing firm, announces the opening of their third office in LA’s hip West Hollywood neighborhood. In addition to offices in Atlanta (opened 2002) and Chicago (opened 2006), the west coast office will give them the presence necessary to service their wide variety of clientele. They have also announced a new Publicity Director, Daphne Ortiz, who will help service the LA office.
“It’s always been our plan to have presence out west so that we can continue to provide our clients with broader exposure in key markets. We are right on plan in terms of our growth strategy, which is to adapt to the market and grow with our clients,” says Co-owner and Marketing Director, Tia Egidi-Clarida.
To round out their expertise and services, PR guru Daphne Ortiz has joined the k101 team as Publicity Director. Ortiz brings over eight years of experience in PR, with a focus on celebrities and the Hollywood entertainment industry. She has worked for one of Hollywood’s most powerful publicity firms PMK/HBH and other prestigious companies such as New Line Cinema and Patricola-Lust PR. Over the years, Daphne has developed relationships with a variety of actors, agents, managers, TV networks and film companies and will be bringing those relationships to k101 Agency. She will share her time between the Los Angeles and Chicago offices.
