November 19, 2008 - Elevating Music to More than Mere Momentary Entertainment. The holiday airwaves are alive with JUSTIN HINES popular version of the classic “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and his original omposition, “How I Love This Time”, both poised to exceed the previous reception they received from the media and fans. Available on iTunes and on the DMDS system, here Justin conveys the warmth and passion of the season. With his remarkable, unwavering spirit, he puts this pair of pop tunes squarely in the elegant acoustic environment that has made his poignant vocals and his eloquent lyrical vision so esteemed by public and trade alike.
Justin began an exciting performance schedule this year supporting his debut album SIDES, which features the hits “April on the Ground” and a number 1 single on iTunes, “Wish You Well”. Highlights included his having opened the Canadian Parasport Summer Games and a 6-city, high profile tour of China in support of athletes in the Beijing Paralympic Games. He has recently completed several successful southern-Ontario concerts and performed in California with Sheila E, Kat Dysan and Rhonda Smith. He also raised thousands of dollars for the Variety’s children by being the first artist ever to bring advanced, unique, interactive PDF technology on-line where he offered the world his singles at no charge and his album for a small donation. With the capacity to see hope shining through despair and disappointment, the extraordinary artist guides others to recognize beauty and light in the everyday realities of life’s journey.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22, at 6:00 p.m., Justin shares the stage with KOOL AND THE GANG, at the 22ND annual CRYSTAL BALL at Toronto’s CONGRESS CENTRE and he concludes his 2008 performance schedule WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 31 at 8:00 p.m. at NIAGARA FALLS’ free NEW YEAR’S EVE SPECTACULAR at QUEEN VCTORIA PARK with Supertramp’s ROGER HODGSON and Toronto rocker KIM MITCHELL. This outdoor spectacular, which drew close to 50,000 revelers last year, will be broadcast live on CHCH TV and CanWest Global affiliated television stations across Canada and around the world.
