Furthermore, his paintings are featured in multiple collections in several European countries. Chacur firmly believes in the theory that Art is part of human evolution.
Possessing an academic foundation in architecture, Chacur’s art transmits the idea of movement using geometric designs, interpreting form that originates from the abstract.
Chacur’s monochromatic works of art are highly personal and subjective. Soft movements and texture techniques are woven into forms that create a subtle three dimensional effect.
His artwork utilizes color, tone and nuance, spanning the pure to the metallic, establishing a direction from the primitive to the futuristic. Chacur’s interpretation is thus sophisticated and multi-layered and can be interpreted in the language of postmodernism.
Organic and sexual imaginary in Chacur’s unmistakable artwork are transmitted by way of color, lines and motifs, giving it an overall futuristic energy.
Waves give an ephemeral vision for cosmic eternity which is described by Chacur:
“L’eternite dans les petits vagues du port qui se repetent sans repeter”.
