The show premiered in cyberspace Sunday, January 20, 2008. Less than 3 days after its premier, the shows website has received a lot of interest with nearly 8000 hits.
The purpose of Christian Songwriter Spotlight is to spotlight newly discovered talented gifted songwriters who write wonderful christian songs which deserve to be noticed and heard. The shows focus is and will be christian music songwriters and not christian recording artists who also happen to be songwriters.
In addition to featuring great new songwriters and great new songs; the show also will feature personal stories from featured songwriters that only the writers themselves can tell, feature interviews with christian music industry professionals, tips and advise for songwriters, and other fun things relevant to christian music songwriters.
