December 17, 2008 - With a tightening economy, many JMS customers are offering their patients and clients lower priced alternatives to custom orthotics. The JMS line of pre-fab insoles are premolded foot with a series of different support options and sizes. The insoles are comprised of the same high quality material as JMS sheets and coverings. The functional insoles include polymer shells, Polypropylene shells and JMS’s proprietary J-Glas and JMS 500, TL-Silver and TL-2100 materials. They are available in a variety of thicknesses, firmness, colors and sizes (Mens and Womens).
The new line of Healix Care Breathable Foot Beds are designed for comfort, support, and protection. They offer a breathable ventilated shock absorbing layer while providing strong support. Support styles range from minimum support for lighter foot beds all the way up to maximum support which provides the firmest arch shell. Each foot bed consists of a VEVA base and offers a different top cover to choose from. The base is called The VEVA Breathable. The VEVA is a thin, light, shock and sheer absorbing layer with minimal weight and bulk. This newly designed vented foot bed was created to allow heat and moisture to move away from the foot over a wide area.
The top covers of the Healix line include SilverTecc™ and BambooTecc™. The SilverTecc top cover consists of an anti-microbial/anti-fungal fabric which kills common odor-causing microbes and provides a soft surface preventing any fibers from touching or damaging the skin. The most popular top layer of the Healix Care foot beds is the BambooTecc. This eco friendly layer consists of traditional fibers with natural Nano-Bamboo particles. This fiber has anti odor and high wicking properties. These BambooTecc foot beds are chemical free consisting of the highest quality of bamboo from a documented source.
