February 13, 2009 - JigTV.com, an online community for choreographers and dancers, is inviting people to show their dancing and choreography skills in an exclusive online dance contest.
Those who enter the contest will have their dance video judged by professional choreographers as well as fellow JigTV.com members.
So what kind of videos should users submit? When asked that question, Chelsea Latimer of JigTV.com replied "Show us your best moves! JigTV wants to see your own special choreography and unique Jigster moves. The definition of a jig is a lively dance, so go wild and show us your style, creativity, and energy!"
Those that enter the contest will have the chance to receive a professional critique from choreographer Brian Friedman! Each entrant will have two opportunities to win: by popular vote of registered users (User's Choice) or by judgment of JigTV's panel of choreographers (Critic's Choice). Registered users can cast their votes during the period of March 1st to March 15th, 2009 and may vote for one video per day.
Entry into the dance contest is easy. Those interested need only follow these simple steps:
-Visit JigTV.com and click on the online dance contest link
-If you're already a member log in and upload a video
-If you're not yet a member, sign up for a free account, then upload a video
All entries need to be uploaded between February 15th and February 28th, 2009, and videos will be judged. Voting will take place from March 1st to March 15th, 2009.
