October 25, 2008 - TTG Travel Award winners are selected, based on votes cast by readers of the TTG magazine across the Asia Pacific region. The TTG Awards recognize and salute luminaries and stalwarts in the travel trade industry for their stellar performance and for being established the ‘Best’ in their respective categories.
Jet Airways becomes the recipient of the TTG Travel Award for the sixth year, having previously won the same in the years 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.
Last year, TTG recognized and accorded Chairman Naresh Goyal the ‘Travel Entrepreneur of the Year ‘ at the 18th TTG Awards for his invaluable contribution to the trade in general and Aviation in particular.
Commenting on winning the Award at the Gala Dinner, Mr. Shetty said, “Having redefined the passengers flying experience in India for over a decade, at Jet Airways we continue to constantly raise the bar in terms of service excellence. Awards such as these stand testimony to our efforts to build a truly world-class Indian airline, at par with the best.”
