April 19, 2008 - Apocket Bleu set time announced for finals in “The Break Contest. The band is a finalist in The Break Contest at famed Stone Pony. On Saturday, April 19th, The Stone Pony, Asbury Park’s legendary night club, will play host to the final round in The Break contest. The Break is the official contest for The Bamboozle East , an annual multi-day concert held at The Meadowlands. Local bands continue to compete in a multiple round elimination process that will award bands a set at the renowned music fest.
Apocket Bleu has performed at The Stone Pony on several occasions and was invited back to compete for a spot on the big stage at The Meadowlands on May 3rd and 4th, 2008. Their performances have landed the band in the final round of the contest. They will play again on Saturday April 19th, set time 12 PM.
