January 05, 2009 - Site595 is pleased to announce that YouTube video uploads will be made available to members in the next few weeks. In addition, members will be able to include their personal Twitter feeds on profile pages. Other video upload, music playlist and new media options are under consideration.
Site595 is aware of concerns regarding the use of Project Playlist. A series of lawsuits against Project Playlist has prompted several sites to reconsider its use. Since an agreement has been reached between Project Playlist and SONY, Site595 believes it is possible that other companies will follow SONY's lead. When more information becomes available, Site595 will make a decision on the use of Project Playlist on the site.
In the meantime, members may continue to upload music and video files from their computer and look forward to the YouTube and Twitter feed options in the near future. Members are also able to upload photos into albums, chat in instant messaging or open chat room forums, write blogs and articles, buy and sell items, and post events.
Members' suggestions are always welcome. Those interested in building communities on Site595 are encouraged to register, join the grid and take advantage of the site's offer of thirty days free.
