May 30, 2009 - Ludus Tours is proud to announce that it has been chosen by the Jamaica Bobsleigh Federation as its Official Tour Operator in time for the Vancouver Winter Games in 2010.
As part of the exclusive agreement, Ludus will create tour and hotel packages for Jamaica Bobsleigh fans to attend the Games in Whistler, Canada, where the Olympic Bobsleigh events will take place. Custom Winter Games Fan packages will include Whistler accommodations, transportation, excursions and local guide assistance during the Vancouver Games. Guests will also have access to the Jamaican Bobsleigh House, a hospitality house that will be open to the public during the Games.
“When you think of Jamaican Bobsleigh, you think of fun, you think of heart and you think of what the Olympic spirit is truly about,” said Adam Dailey, Ludus’ Managing Director. “Ludus shares the same passion as the Jamaican Bobsleigh Team and we’re excited to be working with one of the coolest brands associated with the Olympics.”
The Jamaica Bobsleigh team was first organized in 1987 when founders George Fitch and William Maloney recognized the athleticism of Jamaican sprinters and how it might correlate to the sport of bobsledding. The team first competed in the Olympics at the 1988 Calgary Games and gained international fame after the release of the Disney hit feature film Cool Runnings.

Ludus Tours provides tours and packages to the Winter Games with accommodations in both Downtown Vancouver as well as Whistler Village. Prices start at $1,195 USD per person.
In addition to its relationship with Jamaica Bobsleigh, Ludus Tours is also the Official Tour Operator of the US Bobsled and & Skeleton Team, and they also work with other National Governing Bodies as well.

About Jamaica Bobsleigh
Founded in 1987, the Jamaica Bobsleigh Federation is the governing body of bobsleigh and skeleton in Jamaica and is a member of the Jamaica Olympic Association. The first four-man Jamaican bobsleigh team competed in the Calgary Games in 1988. Despite setbacks at the 1992 Albertville Games, the team went on to triumph at the 1994 Games in Lillehammer, Norway, finishing in 14th place.
