April 21, 2008 - Abu Dhabi, UAE-- The Jadwin Consulting Group (MENA) L.L.C. announces that Ambassador John B. Craig has joined as a full partner and has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, and will working out of Abu Dhabi, UAE, and Muscat, Oman.
The ambassador has lived and worked in the United Arab Emirates for the past five years. Before joining the Jadwin Group, he was the Middle East President for the Boeing International Corporation, a subsidiary of The Boeing Company, and acted also as the senior representative of The Boeing Company in the Middle East.

A well known figure in the region, Mr. Craig joined The Boeing Company after a distinguished career as an American diplomat in the region, serving from 2001-2002 as Special Assistant to President George W. Bush for Combating Terrorism. In 1998 President Clinton appointed him as the U.S Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman. Prior to that he served in the US diplomatic missions in Damascus, Cairo, Tripoli, Jeddah, Riyadh and Beirut and was the Deputy Ambassador at the American Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia from 1992 to 1995.
Ambassador Craig said of his new endeavor: “These are exciting times for business in this region and the Jadwin Group is strategically positioned to participate in many important initiatives that will help fuel development and investments.
“We will provide high level consulting services to private sector entities and governmental agencies throughout the Gulf region. In addition to projects underway, we intend to create new business opportunities that will bring knowledge and technology to the region, and we are committed to develop projects that will help to train, develop and employ young nationals in the Gulf Cooperation Council states.”
