May 11, 2008 - ITT Licensing™, a South Florida-based leader in product licensing for over a decade, has gained a new entry into its dynamic new product idea subscription service for manufacturers, Innovation Direct™. The company is an Ohio-based outfit that specializes in the manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of industrial and hardware products.
The company had initially made contact with ITT Licensing™ representatives after reviewing preliminary, non-confidential information they had received on an invention from their roster. Even though the company went on to decline further involvement with that particular item after having signed a non-disclosure agreement for it and reviewing its detailed design information, they expressed strong interest in becoming a part of the Innovation Direct™ program after becoming familiarized with it.
The ITT Licensing™ representative managing this manufacturer's Innovation Direct™ account conducted a search through the ITT Licensing™ database and identified 15 inventions for the company's initial package. Accordingly, preliminary, non-confidential information on those inventions were recently sent to the company contact.
Once ITT Licensing™ receives feedback on which product ideas from the group are of further interest, a non-disclosure agreement encompassing those concepts will be sent to the company. Upon its full execution, that document will allow ITT Licensing™ to share detailed design information with the company on the inventions covered by the agreement.
