May 07, 2008 - ITT Licensing™, a South Florida-based leader in the product licensing industry for over a decade, has sent a package of preliminary, non-confidential information on 20 inventions from its roster to a Washington-based company that is part of ITT's dynamic new product idea subscription service for manufacturers, Innovation Direct™.
The company, which has been a part of the Innovation Direct™ program since early 2007 and has reviewed over 90 ITT Licensing™ inventor product ideas during that span, had requested that ITT send them pet inventions in addition to the customary kitchen items that they specialize in. According to their official website, the company has been in the kitchenware business for 35 years and enjoys distribution of their products in multiple continents. They have recently informed ITT Licensing™ that they are interested in expanding their product lines to include a variety of innovative pet products.
The ITT Licensing™ representative managing this company's Innovation Direct™ account included 10 pet inventions to go along with 10 kitchen concepts in order to comply with their request. ITT Licensing™ will now await this company's feedback regarding which product ideas from the group appear to be of further interest, and will then prepare a non-disclosure agreement that will encompass those items they designate. Once the agreement is fully executed, ITT Licensing™ will be able to share detailed design information on the inventions covered by the agreement.
