July 10, 2008 - ITT Licensing™, a South Florida-based leader in product licensing for over a decade, has received indication from a Las Vegas-based direct response company that they retain an advanced level of interest in 14 ITT Licensing™ inventor product ideas that were part of their latest Innovation Direct package. Innovation Direct™ is ITT Licensing™'s dynamic new product idea information subscription service for manufacturers, marketers, and distributors.
The company, which has been a part of the Innovation Direct service since May 2007, had originally been sent their most recent package of invention information in late August 2007. The batch had consisted of preliminary, non-confidential information on 21 items from the ITT roster and until this latest communication, the company had yet to specify which concepts were of further interest.
According to their official website, the company has been in business for over a decade and has successfully marketed and distributed several products in various categories through television infomercials. Accordingly, the products sent to them in their Innovation Direct™ packages typically consist of household, kitchen, fitness, and lawn and garden items.
After agreeing to confidentiality on the aforementioned 14 product ideas, the company contact was sent access to all of the detailed design information available for each. ITT Licensing™ now awaits the company's feedback on this material. If any of the inventions continue to be the subject of interest after the review of this information, ITT Licensing™ will explore the possibility of the signing of exclusive developmental agreements for those items, or will move directly to attempting to successfully negotiate a licensing agreement if the interest from the company is sufficient.
