June 14, 2008 - ITT Licensing™, a South Florida-based leader in product licensing for over a decade, has received an indication of an advanced level of interest in one of its inventor's kitchen accessories from their contact at a New York-based direct response company that is part of their dynamic new product idea information subscription service, Innovation Direct™.
The company had been sent preliminary, non-confidential information on the invention in an Innovation Direct™ package in mid-May, and had elected to review detailed design information about it shortly thereafter. After agreeing to confidentiality, the company had received access to the detailed information recently.
The potential licensee presented the ITT Licensing™ representative managing their Innovation Direct™ account with several questions regarding the concept, which were in turn forwarded to the inventor. After obtaining responses to the inquiries, the ITT Licensing™ representative provided the responses to the manufacturer, which continues to evaluate the potential of the product idea internally.
If the company makes a decision to enter into licensing negotiations regarding the invention, ITT Licensing™ will attempt to negotiate an agreement on behalf of the inventor.
