February 20, 2008 - i-Tech has introduced its KPC series metal panel PC with ultra slim and exquisite metal enclosures. The KPC series is available in rugged metel housing and NEMA 4 / IP 65 dust and water proof display front and comes in different display sizes ranging from 12”, 15”, 17” and 19”. It also comes with high brightness TFT panel and resistive / SAW /IR touch.
KPC series is available in both, the standard model and in a number of different cabinet designs including whole color painted sheet metal housing, complete stainless steel cabinet and panel mount model. I-Tech also offers fanless and ventless/vandal proof design of KPC series metal panel PC. The KPC series designs also include desktop stand, MSR, laser scanner and camera kits in order to fit different applications.
The KPC series metal panel PC is just 60 mm in thickness and is equipped with Intel mobile technology that supports multiple processors from Fanless ULV CPU to high performance Pentium M, core 2 dual. It also has slim HDD bay design for quick and easy service and Rich I/O ports for excellent peripheral connectivity.
Other technical specifications include B78 motherboard, Its CPU supports Intel Celeron M 1.3 / 1.5GHz; Pentium M 1.8GHz and has system and graphic memory of up to 2 GB and max 64MB respectively. It comes with 2.0 USB, audio speaker, power adapter and compact flash memory. Its operating system supports Windows XP, WEPOS, XP Embedded, XP professional for Embedded, WIN 2000 professional Embedded and Linux.
KPC series broad product line is ideal for digital signage, kiosk, e-home, KVS, healthcare, industrial automation, transportation, gaming and other applications.
