November 21, 2006 - Soccerkix and Scuola Calcio - Italian Premier Soccer School is very excited to bring the all year soccer boarding school. The "Soccer Master Program"
The Soccer Master Program represents a project which gives young soccer players from 15 years of age the possibility to learn the Italian soccer methodology under the guidance of well known and respected FIGC/UEFA qualified coaches.
The Ascoli Soccer Academy Master Program was born with the aim to enhance young athletes technical skills through intense practices based accordingly on the Italian method of training.
During the Master Program, the Ascoli coaching staff will evaluate the technical skills of the players, as well as their development and improvement in order to plan a possible engagement in the Ascoli Calcio youth teams. The engagement is regulated by the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC) regarding to soccer clubs rules.
There are two types of Master Program:
- The “Annual” Master Program (High School or University) with a duration of 9 months which coincides with the opening and closing of the scholastic and academic year (from September to June). The registration must be in no later then June 30th.
- The “Monthly“ Master Program with a duration of 1, 2 or 3 months which can be attended during any period of the regular sportive season (just for those attending University).
Since the number of participants is limited, the Ascoli staff reserves the rights to choose participants based on the order of registrations.
The aim of this project is to enrich Ascoli’s youth teams with young soccer talents and to prepare them to be ready for the professional team as well. At the same time, the Ascoli Soccer Academy project has another important task: discover future talents even in those countries where soccer is not in their culture and is not as developed as it is in Europe.
The Ascoli Soccer Academy has its headquarter in Perugia, a city situated in the centre of Italy in the wonderful Umbria region “the green heart of Italy”. Ascoli Calcio choose this city because of the presence of good education structures and sport facilities.
