It Convergence Opens Lower Manhattan Office Under Downtown Incentive Bill

IT Convergence is proud to announce that its New York City office will open in January 2007. The opening of this new office will allow us to meet increasing demand from our clients on the east coast.

(1888PressRelease) December 06, 2006 - IT Convergence is proud to announce the opening of an office in New York City.

IT Convergence has seen rapid growth since its inception and, with increasing demand from the East Coast, it is making this strategic move to sustain the company’s robust growth into 2007. While expanding its US presence, IT Convergence continues to grow internationally through its offices in Argentina, Mexico, and China. IT Convergence is a member of Oracle® PartnerNetwork.

In order to maintain New York’s historic status as a premier business district, the Governor, Mayor, Assembly Speaker, and Senate Majority Leader of New York have jointly created an incentive package to encourage commercial development in Lower Manhattan. The benefits under the scheme include a commercial tax rent exemption and relocation employment assistance. IT Convergence President Patrick Krause explains, "New York’s state and city leadership have been working aggressively to attract businesses to downtown, and IT Convergence is happy to cooperate with them to support their efforts."

Patrick Krause details the company’s strategy further: "IT Convergence does business with many Fortune 500 companies, and establishing our New York City office will allow us to build stronger relationships with those customers, while at the same time forging relationships with many new clients. The demand for our services continues to grow exponentially, and the East Coast market is very healthy. Having an office in New York will help fortify our support for our existing client base, and open up new opportunities."

IT Convergence Manager Brian Koh, who will be relocating from San Francisco to run the New York City office, explains, "Being from the East Coast originally, I have always seen New York as one of the world’s most vibrant and exciting cities, in addition to being the financial capital of the US. That’s why I’m excited and privileged to be leading this new venture for IT Convergence. This additional office shows that IT Convergence is committed to further growth in this critical market."

Opening the New York City office, which will be the company’s fourth location in the US, advances IT Convergence towards its strategic goal of establishing a presence in key metropolitan areas. The office will primarily focus on sales, and consulting services. It will be located on Broadway in the heart of Lower Manhattan’s financial district and is scheduled to open in early January 2007.
