August 29, 2007 - Pune: International Institute of Information Technology (I2IT) situated at Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi, Pune presented a Dual Certification (RFID+ & RFIDSCM) Curriculum Program.
The week five-day program was held at the Convention Centre of I2IT recently.
This was attended by Padmashree Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, Mr. Ashok Chandak (Director - NXP Semiconductors India), Mr. Harold Clampitt and Mr. Ashim Patil.
The program was facilitated by Infotek Software & Systems and has been conceived by its MD & CEO Mr. Ashim A Patil as an initiative to have more trained and certified RFID resources in India. The program trainer was Mr. Harold Clampitt, CEO & Founder of American RFID Solutions LLC. Chicago, USA. Mr. Gregory Lee from BEA Systems conducted the Middleware Training.
American RFID Solutions (ARS) is recognized across the Globe as World Leaders in RFID Training. The training methods are innovative and targeted which go far beyond typical stare and glare course content.
The training program is fun, engaging and increases the effectiveness of learning by using proven educational principles. The program starts with building a simple radio to understand the RF of RFID. The reader antenna construction is one of the highlights of the training program. This is a vendor agnostic training powered by Alien, Feig, Intermec, Motorola, Nedap and many more equipments.
The trainer Mr. Harold Clampitt is one of the most respected names in the RFID fraternity. An Electrical Engineer and MBA from University of Chicago, he is considered an expert at RF fingerprinting. With several books like the RFID Handbook to his credit, Mr. Clampitt has been honoured as the Co-founder and Vice-Chairman of the RFID China Training Institute and founding member of the RFID+ Cornerstone Committee and the International Supply Chain Education Alliance RFID program.
