Service providers who offer prepaid calling through ISPhone’s hosted prepaid platform can now add a virtual URL to their accounts, enabling them to promote their brand when customers access call records and other account information.
“Presenting a consistent branding message to customers is vital in a competitive market,” said Victor von Schlegell, ISPhone’s president. “By adding a virtual URL to their account, service providers can market and sell a complete prepaid calling service that includes their company brand, even when customers are accessing account information through our hosted platform.”
ISPhone stores call detail records, prepaid account balances, and other information on its in-house servers. Customers access this information online through their service provider’s Website. When a virtual URL is added to the provider’s account, customers continue to see the provider’s URL in their browser windows, even though they are accessing a server on ISPhone’s network.
For example, if a reseller’s Website address is www.serviceprovider.com, customers will continue to see http://www.serviceprovider.com in their browser windows when they access account information that resides on ISPhone servers.
