November 28, 2008 - London -- “This range has been topically-stained in a range of popular colours to offer our customers a more affordable and wider flooring option. With so many colours to choose from, there is something for virtually every decor or theme.” explains Co-founder, Adam Robertson.
Pine wood is very organic in appearance. Colour range includes Washed White, Washed Silver, Washed Stone, Washed Black, Washed Natural, Pitch Black, Georgian and Victorian. Even though the wood is stained, the robust and hearty graining of the Pine wood species can be seen through especially in the lighter products.
Pine is softwood and has long been used as making furniture and particularly popular as an outdoor building material in many Scandinavian countries. Pine flooring should last as long as hardwood flooring if they are maintained well. As the flooring is solid all the way through, they can be sanded down and refinished over generations of use making them a long lasting interior material.
Generally pines are faster growing than native deciduous trees, with most managed pine trees reaching up to the age of 50. Urbane Living’s pine floorings are certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) that guarantees sustainability.
Price starts from £33.18m2 + VAT.
