June 30, 2007 - On Sunday, July 22, MOVIE GEEKS UNITED!, one of the most popular motion picture-themed radio programs on the internet, will broadcast a special 2- hour tribute to legendary director BRIAN DE PALMA from 6 – 8pm (EST). The broadcast, which will be made available live or on replay via their website at www.blogtalkradio.com/moviegeeksunited, will feature interviews with several of De Palma's creative collaborators, as well as film scholars who admire his work.

An internet radio show hosted by three knowledgeable, passionate and hysterically funny cinematic fanatics, Movie Geeks United! features weekly movie talk on subjects as diverse as "The Big Lebowski" and "Can Movies Inspire Real-Life Violence?" Previously, the Movie Geeks paid tribute to the cinematic genius of David Lynch and acting icon Al Pacino; broadcasts which are now available on archive. Interview subjects for the De Palma tribute are currently in the confirmation stages. Announcements will be made concerning the broadcast line-up at a future date.
