April 08, 2008 - International lean compliance expert, John Avellanet, will be the guest speaker for the upcoming ICCA webinar on records management for small business owners. Mr. Avellanet will speak on how entrepreneurs and small business owners can manage their records to help prevent lawsuits and prove intellectual property ownership.
A former CIO of a Fortune 50 subsidiary, Mr. Avellanet was accountable for information management and litigation discovery compliance prior to founding his current consulting firm, Cerulean Associates LLC. He is one of the few executives who have ever built an ISO-15489 compliant records department from scratch, and has been interviewed on records management compliance topics on the radio program My Technology Lawyer and in the international journal, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
