August 29, 2007 - Pune: The International Institute of Information Technology (I2IT) hosted its third convocation ceremony recently at The Mohini Chhabria Convention Center, Hinjewadi
The event began with the lighting of the I2IT Vidya Jyoti at the hands of all the dignitaries of I2IT. Chief Guest for the occasion was Prof. Indira Parekh, President, Foundation for Liberal And Management Education on campus (FLAMES).
The Convocation ceremony started off with the Welcome Address delivered by the Chairman of the Academic Council, Padmashree Dr. Vijay Bhatkar.
He welcomed the students for their convocation ceremony and said, “It gives me great pride to know that I2IT has completed three successful and glorious years”. He shared his experiences and sited industry relevant examples which were a great learning experience for all the students passing out. Dr. Bhatkar shared the intricacies and details of how the Corporate world functions.”
Prof. Indira Parekh, Chief Guest shared, “I2IT has been a good platform for the students who aspire to make a good career for themselves. There maybe various career opportunities, however I2IT provides the right channel to approach it and prepares every student in a wholesome manner.

Over 350 students graduated and the ceremony was followed by a presentation on the Institute, which made the students walk down the memory lane of the time they spent at the Institute.
The ceremony was concluded with a vote of thanks.
