IntelliMarket.net Attempts To Tackle Growing Naivety Amongst New Internet Marketers By Launching A Brand New Learning Resource Center

Internet marketing is growing at an unprecedented rate. Supporting this growth are a continual stream of new Internet marketers who are entering the online advertising world with little or no knowledge, and ending up spending more than they can afford. IntelliMarket.net is attempting to tackle the problem by providing education to online advertisers about online marketing.

(1888PressRelease) June 30, 2007 - IntelliMarket.net today announced the launch of its' new learning centre designed specifically for new Internet marketers.

The site aims to stem the growing problems within internet advertising related to new online advertisers frequently utilising advertising methods which may be inappropriate or ineffectual for their business.

Azard Hosein, founder of IntelliMarket.net, said today "The first quarter of this year alone we have seen a 17% rise in Internet display ad spending, with an associated increase of new advertisers who have no knowledge of how to advertise or where to advertise, yet spend their money and see little results."

He was quoting a report released by Price Waterhouse Coopers, earlier this year, which specified that total ad spending on the Internet had risen to almost $4.7 Billion in the first quarter of 2007, a rise of over 17% on the same period last year.

With the cost of advertising online increasing, as more and more online advertisers compete for prominent placing, it is easy for a new advertiser to quickly spend more than they had planned.

"The problem today is a fundamental one, advertising will always cost something in some shape or form and the most successful advertising has been shown to be carried out by companies who plan and target their campaigns carefully, around their potential customers."

"For instance an advertiser targeting a keyword on a pay-per-click basis might target the word 'boots', to display their ad. If they were only selling leather boots, for example, they would also receive traffic looking for suede boots as well. This could turn out to be a costly and damaging mistake to a company’s' advertising campaign, as pay-per-click campaigns are some of the most expensive, yet popular, forms of online campaigns" explains Hosein.

IntelliMarket.net will provide training articles and video resources to enable advertisers to learn about the effectiveness and range of different online marketing techniques. The site hopes this will enable businesses and individuals, new to online advertising, to target their campaigns more effectively and gain higher conversion rates as a result.

"We hope our resources will increase awareness within the industry and provide more positive and relevant adverts to an ever increasingly focused consumer base. Advertisers will benefit due to better cost effective strategies as a direct result of education" said Hosein.
