August 31, 2006 - Minneapolis, MN — iHound the pioneering and award-winning internet search site has re-launched under an agreement between SpeedSeek® Corporation and ThinkTek Labs™. Initially launched in 2001 as a technology demo, iHound™ gained tens of thousands of users from around the world within the first week, and won a major publication award. SpeedSeek decided to cease the iHound demo in 2003, and traffic was routed to SpeedSeek.com.
With the immediate re-launch, iHound is back helping solve one of the top time-wasting issues on the Internet – finding relevant results. Unlike meta-search engines which gather and alter consolidated returns, iHound uses a portion of the patented SpeedSeek® technology to return complete results from over 300 sources. With a single click, iHound searches, retrieves and displays the results from each of the selected sources, bypassing the need to conduct multiple searches of individual sites.
iHound looks to have a promising future under the new agreement with ThinkTek Labs™, as they work together to develop ground-breaking technology advances applicable for everyday use, improving user efficiency and enhancing the user experience.
