April 27, 2009 - StableNet Telco 5.0 includes a number of enhancements for carrier ethernet deployments. Integrated support for Ericsson fixed-line devices, including the Redback and Entrisphere brands, reduces implementation complexity and costs and shortens time-to-market for network operators which deploy Ericsson equipment. Available immediately, StableNet Telco ships with pre-built support for:
* EMN Ethernet Metro Access Nodes
* EDA Broadband Loop Multiplexers
* Redback SmartEdge Routers
With this extended functionality, StableNet Telco provides NSPs (Network Service Providers) with a service assurance platform for the effective management of extended triple-play services such as HSI (high speed internet), HDTV, VoD (video on demand) and VoIP services for both residential and commercial subscribers.
In addition, StableNet Telco 5.0 includes about 100 improvements and enhancements in the areas of reporting, fault management, impact management, network discovery and topology visualization.
StableNet Telco installs out-of-the-box, deploys rapidly and scales to large environments. When used with Ericsson fixed-line access devices, StableNet auto-discovers end-to-end services, such as VLL or VPLS and automatically configures performance monitoring for throughput, latency, QoS and other KPIs. In addition, StableNet detects physical and logical inter-dependencies for automatic root-cause and impact analysis. This high degree of automation and pre-configuration make StableNet Telco a particularly efficient and cost effective solution.
