December 06, 2008 - New Delhi: Mark Collin has been appointed Vice President – UK & Europe, heading up European operations working with a highly experienced senior management team based in Manchester.
The expansion reflects Infogain’s desire to grow its presence among potential European and Middle East partners and to expand its portfolio to provide exceptional client service in key geographies. Having previously established some presence in the UK, Infogain is now investing in a long-term strategy to develop its European market share from the UK, strengthening its sales and consultancy presence with a new management team and a fresh approach.
“Infogain has strong relations with strategic partners in the UK and across Europe and this investment reflects the company’s commitment to developing its foothold in already established markets like retail, high tech and ISV, whilst broadening its interests in wider verticals, specifically transportation,” commented Mark Collin.
In the Middle East, Neeraj Chhibbar takes the role of Manager – Sales & Business Development for the Middle East, based in Dubai, and will be responsible for markets in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Yemen. The focus will be on offering end-to-end solutions on Oracle’s Technology platform including Oracle e-Biz and Oracle Retail.
Infogain’s VP of International Sales, Manoj Mittal, comments: “We have received an overwhelming response to the retail and ERP solutions that we have provided our clients in the US and India and now wish to utilize our experience and proven expertise in creating a strong client base in the Middle East as well. Investing resources in these new locations will enable Infogain to continue its strategic growth in these important markets and expand support for its existing customers with global operations.”
Providing market context to the expansion strategy, Kapil Nanda, founder and CEO of Infogain Corporation said: “This expansion reflects our confidence that we have the right service offering for these markets where we are already executing projects for global brand retailers. Further, in establishing a tangible presence in both the UK and Middle East, we will be strengthening our proposition in hands-on consultancy at a time of economic uncertainty when organisations will be looking for cost-effective resources to deliver critical integration, CRM, ERP and Business Intelligence solutions.”
Infogain is already a key partner with Oracle and Red Hat and aims to further develop these important relationships in Europe and throughout the Middle East.
