Ansted brings the advantages of an integrated background involving medical education, patient care, technology, and promotional marketing/advertising to her new position with Info-Surge. She began her career as a unit assistant in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit and Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Fletcher Allen Healthcare in Burlington, Vermont. Her previous experience in medical education started with overseeing the coordination of physician educational symposiums as a program manager with IntraMed Educational Group, a division of Sudler & Hennessey. Ansted has also worked with MediVia and Pharmedica Communications. She recently spent two years helping to successfully develop management database systems for pharmaceutical and biotech clients at a virtual technology systems and services company.
In her professional experience, Ansted has worked on continuing medical education and promotional programs with some of the most high profile clients in the industry, namely Pfizer Inc., GlaxoSmithKline, Forest Laboratories Inc., UCB Pharma, and Élan Pharmaceuticals.
Ansted completed her Master of Public Health degree from New York Medical College and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont. She is also a licensed Master Captain with the United States Coast Guard. She currently lives and works in Madison, Connecticut.
