January 12, 2008 - MLC PR announced that Stealing Jane has once again, been asked to perform at the premiere place for new artists to be showcased, the Millennium Music Conference in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Stealing Jane is redefining the genre of “pop” music by incorporating an original groove rock sound into their harmonies, and the music industry is taking notice. In addition to showcasing at the Millennium Music Conference, their smash single “Outside” was selected from hundreds of songs be included on the MMC12 compilation. This is the fourth year in a row that Stealing Jane has been accepted into this prestigious event. The 12th Annual Millennium Music Conference & Showcase will be held February 14-17, 2008 downtown Harrisburg and at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel & Convention Center in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
Since 1997, MMC12 has become one of the premiere music events on the East Coast. Top music industry professional attend the conference as panelists, mentors, speakers, exhibitors, and talent scouts. MMC12 will feature three days of music business keynotes, panels, clinics, workshops, mentoring, demo listening sessions, and a trade show. Attendees include musicians, music producers, managers, agents, promoters, talent buyers, publishers, studio engineers, radio station executives, record label representatives, distributors, lawyers, and songwriters. The highlight of this conference is the new music that is featured from artists from around the country. There are four nights of showcase performances by 300 artists at 30 venues in and around Harrisburg, PA. The entire experience is a celebration of emerging talent, independent artists, and new music.
Stealing Jane will be showcasing music from their newly released EP “Say Something” at Molly Brannigan’s Irish Pub at 11:30 PM EST on Friday, February 15, 2008. All showcases are open to the public.
