(Chicago, Illinois) – IMAGE Chicago Magazine ends 2006 with singer Kelis on the cover of their Holiday Issue following her live performance for the magazines one-year anniversary. Her performance brought in a packed house which included special guests Michael Jordan, Thomas Jones, George Daniels, Tamron Hall and More.
Since 1999, Kelis has released four-albums and has been labeled as one of today’s strongest women in R&B and Rap Music. Her singles have reached the top-ten which include 2003’s “Milkshake” and her latest single off her Kelis Was Here album –“Bossy.” So what is this bossy mama’s latest venture? What is IMAGE Magazine all about?

IMAGE Chicago is expanding daily and has accomplished a great deal since its launch in 2005. “It has exceeded our expectations thanks to a great team,” says Tino Corona, Executive Officer of IMAGE Chicago Magazine and C.E.O. of IMAGE Nationwide Companies. “I believe it will continue to do so in years to come; not just in Chicago but other cities as well.”
In 2006, the launch of IMAGEworldwide.com gave models, musicians, and reality stars a place to market their own IMAGE. “We are continuously looking for fresh new faces for the magazine whether it’s a profile or model shoot,” says Omar Hussain, Creative Director of IMAGE Chicago Magazine. “The launch of IMAGEworldwide.com has helped us in our search.” Since then, many have been featured in various publications which in-turn increased recognition in their profession.
Although IMAGE is presently celebrating its one-year anniversary, many business owners have already relied on its advertisements and sponsorship opportunities. “We are looking forward to helping reshape the IMAGE of Chicago into an international powerhouse in fashion and entertainment,” says Sorkin.
