Bio: Karin E. Schreurs, writer: “Everyone’s life is a fairy tale written by God’s fingers,” said the famous English writer Hans Christian Anderson. Karin’s story, like everyone else, does have a story to write! Karin was born in Hanover, Germany, during the post WWII era. She was placed in an orphanage and later was adopted by an American couple. Since then, Karin is married to Les and together they have two grown sons and daughter in laws. Karin teaches at a Christian School in Columbus, NE where she was inspired to teach and equip the students in depth the study on prayer last January and February with the theme: Penguin Powered Prayer.
Through poetic rhyme that she wrote, along with, discussion, and application the students embraced the power of prayer for their own personal lives and for others. From these truths they were learning, it was their task to illustrate the meaningful scripture of God’s Word concerning the: different types of prayer, keys to powerful prayer, and the hook ups to powerless prayer. It is the desire for Mrs. Schreurs and her students to promote the good news of God’s Word about prayer to many boys and girls through this book, “Penguin Powered Prayer.” The proceeds will go to Columbus Christian School to continue the foundational truths of Christianity to boys and girls.
