The Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro-algae Spirulina against Malnutrition (IIMSAM), the Permanent Observer to the United Nations Economic and Social Council is working for the humanity.It is doing a number of projects across the world pertaining to malnutrition, world hunger and other International concerns.

16 JUL	IIMSAM attains new height with Dr. Sulaiman Al Fahim's generosity
	With the help of Ambassador Al Fahim’s generous contribution, IIMSAM has initiated few other welfare programmes for the poor and children affected with malnutrition. During IIMSAM’s official trip to Kenya the mentioned programme, Camp Maradona, was launched at Kogelo located near Kenya- Uganda boarder.

23 JUN	IIMSAM’s official calls upon global leaders to support Spirulina for humanity
	Reacting on United Nation's Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) recent estimates that World hunger is estimated to reach an unprecedented high in 2009 with 1,020 million people going hungry every day, Dr. Naseer Homoud said that the estimate is alarming and an eye opener for all social and humanitarian organizations to know what actually are being done to stop annihilation of humanity.

	In a press statement issued to the media, Dr. Naseer Shahir Homoud said that the deadly outbreak of the Swine Flu virus now overshadows the other challenges being faced by the world.

11 May	IIMSAM To Encourage Spirulina To Combat Swine Flu
	His Excellency Remigio Maradona is in Doha with a high level delegation of IIMSAM accompanying IIMSAM Ambassador at Large and Chief Executive Officer of Abu- Dhabi based Hydra Properties, Dr. Sulaiman Al- Fahim, Ambassador S. 07 May	IIMSAM’s Delegation To Arrive Qatar
	The delegation is visiting Qatar on the invitation of IIMSAM’s Director (Middle East) and Goodwill Ambassador Dr. Naseer Shahir Homoud. During the official trip, the officials will visit to a number of organizations including Qatar Foundation, ASPIRE, Shafallah Centre for The Children with Special Needs, Qatar Olympic Committee, Reach Out to Asia (ROTA) among others.
