I Want To Personally Get Involved!

Community leaders gathered together today for lunch to help unite families.

Las Vegas, NV-AZ (1888PressRelease) March 23, 2007 - Several community leaders gathered together today for lunch to hear about the newly formed nonprofit community service organization, Las Vegas Teen Crisis. The presentation was chaired by the founder, Patty Linson and organization president, Lynn Denton. Among the attendees was Tim Johns, with The Social Register of Las Vegas. “I want to personally get involved in what you are doing to help our community!” says Johns.

“Listening to these teens and hearing what they had to say for themselves was a real eye opener.”

The purpose of Las Vegas Teen Crisis is to bring forth a solution for teens and families experiencing breakdown through proactive programs they support. There were a couple of students who currently are involved in these programs available to share their story, as well as graduates of the program and processes.

“The solution lies in the ability of the Las Vegas community to unite and create a change in direction and focus,” says founder, Linson, “and build community commitment around a set of tested and integrated family focus programs.”

This luncheon was one of many events scheduled in our area to bring awareness and solutions into our community.
