Howlin Comedy Club has announced its latest tour dates for the new year
As 2011 draws to a close, Howlin Comedy Club has announced its latest tour dates for the new year. Already building a very loyal following, the comedy club which is full of variety is scheduled to visit various parts of the UK and holds a number of residencies.
- (1888PressRelease) December 08, 2011 - Howlin Comedy Club is certainly no ordinary show. Featuring some of the brightest stars in British comedy, the club frequently tours venues across the UK to provide side-splitting stand-up routines in front of live audiences. Aside from the abundance of gags and witticisms on offer, the touring comedy club is notable for its diversity: Howlin Comedy Club comprises a rich line-up of comedians, each of whom has a distinctive style, routine and on-stage presence. The club is also surprisingly versatile, visiting venues all over the country keeping audiences suitably entertained.
A typical Howlin Comedy Club show lasts around two hours (including a 20 minute interval) and features four top comedians; longer shows with more comedians can be booked if required. Supplying the finest comedic talent around, the club ensures that tickets are routinely sold out, with names such as Kev Orkian, Mark Maier, Mickey Hutton, Raymond and Mr Timpkins, Miles Crawford and Alex Lowe (Barry from Watford) encouraging audiences to keep coming back for more.
Kev Orkian is a particularly popular member of the group, performing some of the funniest routines on the UK comedy circuit, Kev's illustrious career to date includes working alongside Jethro, Bobby Davro and singer Katherine Jenkins. After starring in the UK's biggest Pantomime of 2011 alongside Dame Edna Everage, Kev will return to stand-up with Howlin Comedy Club in the new year and can be seen at St Albans' Maltings Theatre on the 7th January 2011.
Howlin Comedy Club can also be hired for a show anywhere in the UK with minimal fuss. All that is asked of organisers is that a suitable venue is chosen with full seating for the audience and a private green room for the comedians. Howlin Comedy Club deals with just about every other aspect of the show, including publicity, lighting, sound equipment and obviously the comedy!
Last month, Howlin Comedy Club appeared at the Troxy in London, while comedians from the club also toured Solihull, Broxbourne and Dagenham. In 2012, Howlin Comedy Club will again perform at the Troxy - every first Friday of the month, currently scheduled for the 6th January- before visiting venues in Newbury and St. Albans. Wherever the club happens to venture over the festive period and beyond, laughs aplenty are all but guaranteed.
