April 09, 2007 - www.QuitInStyle.com has been set up by a 28 year old accountant who is taking advise on how he can leave his job that he hates.
There are 2 sections in which you can vote. The first, how he can either tell his boss that he is quitting; and secondly, what he can leave as a departing "gift" for his co-workers.
There are currently 10 hilarious options in each section from which you can choose from, and there is also the ability to enter your own suggestions if you feel you have a better idea.
Every week the site is updated, by removing the least voted for options and adding suggestions from readers.
With the promise to videotape or voice record the incident and some classic choices such as "Phone and tell my boss I wont be in anymore but its ok as I have outsourced my job to a company in India", "Superglue everything on my co-workers desks down to their desk" and "Hide a pair of old 'skidmarked' undies in the back of the fridge for someone to find next time they clean it out", www.quitinstyle.com provides some good entertainment without trying to charge or sell you anything.
So for the rest of us who stuck in our miserable existence without the guts to throw in the towel, at least we can take pleasure in this guy getting to follow through our dream (and hopefully getting to watch it on his site afterwards).
