May 19, 2008 - Fantasy Romance author Victoria Graydale announced plans to walk in the Susan B. Korman three day walk for the cure. This November, Graydale will be in Dallas for the 60 mile walk along with others walking for the cure.
This three day walk generates funds for breast cancer research. As an author who writes in Medieval Times, it is her modern day fight as the lives of friends and family have been touched by this disease. And it's a fight she takes seriously.
To be in the walk, Victoria needs to generate $2,200 for the cure and to do so, she has decided to give five dollars from every book purchased through her website www.victoriagraydale.com.
Her latest novel, The Wizard's Daughter, is set in medeival times. It starts with a botched attempt at kidnapping. "He Kidnapped Her, Never Suspecting He Would Fall In Love With Her."
Lady Milburga is in danger. Two men want to see her married, one for her own good, and the other so he could use her as a pawn in his quest for land and power. With no where else to turn, Phaedra, Lady Milburga's lifelong companion and protector, plans a journey to see the wizard to seek his help and wisdom.
An unlikely chaperone guides the women on their quest, fighting off danger and a growing attraction to a woman who will no doubt lead Adrian to heartbreak. Each step of the way leads them closer to love, revenge and a man with a secret while thwarting danger at all turns. Their unlikely chaperone, Adrian, is running from his own demons.
Kay James from Romance Reader At Heart, a well-repected website calls it: "THE WIZARD'S DAUGHTER is a tale of intrigue and suspense, a fairy tale of sorts, but for adults. It is filled with all kinds of dastardly characters who can be so evil that the reader waits—and hopes—for them to get their comeuppance. "
