October 06, 2009 - Sportsvibe.co.uk – the hot new sports website designed to get its readers ‘inside the head’ of sport launches in October.
A new website based on the cult sports blog of leading UK sports author and journalist Ian Stafford, www.sportsvibe.co.uk has launched with the intention of providing sports fans with a unique, first hand, behind the scenes insight to the world of sport, sports stars and athletes and the business that surrounds them.
Sportsvibe focuses on the information and details that you wouldn’t normally find on the back pages of a newspaper or on television and it includes a sports insider’s blog, cool interviews, insightful features, the latest videos, and news plus great competitions and loads of fun and informative items and trivia.
Sports personalities appearing in the launch version of the site include the world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, Jessica Ennis the new Golden Girl of British Athletics, England rugby star turned Dancing on Ice supremo Kyran Bracken, world heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko and as a special guest, mad sports fan and top chef Marco Pierre White.
According to Stafford, who edits the new site, “Sportsvibe is not about sports scores or who should or shouldn’t be playing in the team, its more about providing an insight into the lifestyles of the sports stars. We are aiming to provide our readers with a really interesting and informative insight into what makes sport and sports people ‘tic’.”
