The Mardale Inn has recently undergone major refurbishments, with the whole venue being transformed in to a modern inn, whilst not losing any of its original charm.
When looking for an EPoS system the proprietor of the Mardale Inn compiled a list of essential features which the system would need – these included all the common epos features such as kitchen printing, ease of use and stock control, but included a couple of slightly out of the ordinary features which tie in with the way the venue needs to work – these include the ability to book rooms and hold a diary on the till to manage bookings, take deposits, and allow the staff at the Mardale Inn to build a mailing list, allowing them to truly keep in touch with their residents, past and future.
When Hospitality Tills were contacted by the Mardale Inn, the solution that was discussed at length was one that is well known to us and included a J2 560rt PC based EPoS till and CES TS EPoS Software . The speed and reliability of the J2 terminal, along with the fact it can be wall mounted in almost any confined space meant that the hardware was truly perfect for the requirement. With regards to Software, the majority of The Mardale Inn’s requirement was handled perfectly by the CES Touch software, when combined with the added customer loyalty and booking system modules which both integrate seamlessly in to the system.
CES TS software was a perfect solution, which gives each pub or restaurant a highly customisable and easy to control touch screen EPoS system with the capacity to run multiple menus, prices and screens, depending on times, dates or customer loyalty levels. CES Touch software includes stock management and GP calculation features as standard, as well as product recipes and different product sizes on each product.
