The 2009 Honda Pilot is powered by a 250-horsepower, 3.5-liter i-VTEC V-6 engine. Honda's Variable Cylinder Management increases mileage and lowers emissions by automatically deactivating and reactivating multiple cylinders, depending on the driver's comfort and need.
A hallmark of the Pilot is the functional eight-passenger seating that becomes easier to access in the third row as key dimensions for cargo, occupant space, and legroom increase in all seating positions. A redesigned platform allows more refined handling and ride comfort to exist seamlessly with all-weather and medium-duty off-road capabilities.
