June 30, 2007 - Response to the new unsigned bands website honc.biz has been overwhelming. Visitors to the website have been steadily increasing and the number of legal free mp3 downloads is also on the rise. Feedback on the high quality of music honc.biz has been able to source has been extremely positive and new music is being added weekly.
www.honc.biz official spokesman "Honcman" has opened his own Myspace page (www.myspace.com/honcman) and will be using this web presence to blog about progress and new band signings.
Memberships to the site are steadily flowing and the Honcman has some cool giveaways of merchandise and mp3/mp4 players filled with Honc™ music for the 1000th member. With current memberships hitting just over the 700 mark we are expecting this to hit the 1000 mark in the next month!
Honcman gets a lot of mail and goes through a lot of music, He reports only about a 5% pass rate for musicians that make it to the site. This commitment to quality means that we only have a small number of promoted bands at this stage, But because of our criteria of a minimum of 5 songs for free download and professionally recorded music, we believe that quality will win over quantity.
