Homeschooling is rapidly becoming a preferred method of educating one’s children due to the increasing unreliability of the public school system, lack of substance within a school’s curriculum in the public school system, and neglect of each individual child’s interest’s and needs in the public school system. The News Virginian estimates the number of children being homeschooled currently in the U.S at between 1.9 and 2.4 million.
