The website’s intention is to provide free information about how to optimize and market a new blog or website to increase website traffic. The idea for the website came about when Miguel Feliciano decided to help small business owners learn about search engine optimization after countless requests for advice about their own websites. Hit One Million is planning to provide a free downloadable desktop application that can look at web pages, grade them, and provide recommendations to improve the web page. The site is looking to generate income through advertisements and sponsorship as well as a pro version of the desktop application to continue the experimental project.
