Music Producer Stoni Speaks At Harvard University’s 21st Annual Women’s Leadership Conference 2008.


New York, NY (1888PressRelease) September 02, 2008 - Music producer Stoni has be invited to participate in the 21st Annual Women's Leadership Conference 2008 Panel at Harvard University on Tuesday, September .2, 2008. The Harvard's Women's Leadership Conference brings together a network of women to share experiences and discuss issues that affect women and issues that women are effectively apart of.. Representing the arts and entertainment portion of the “Do What You Love, Love What You Do”- Passions panel, Stoni will discuss her passion for music and how she's been able to move forward with her career. As a guest speaker, Stoni will offer insight about what path she took to be one of the most exciting new talents in the industry.

About Stoni
In her hometown of New York City, Stoni holds the title as the first female music producer to ever compete in a beat battle and first female to ever win. Stoni is also the first international female beat battle competitor and champion. Stoni has been featured in several magazines that include being the first female music producer featured in Scratch Magazine, the hip hop music producer’s bible. Known for her expertise in operating the MPC brand drum machines, Stoni has showcased her beats at major music industry events and trade shows. In addition to producing music, Stoni is also a contributing music technology writer for Remix Magazine and Mix Magazine. Stoni is the first female music producer to be endorsed by music software company Propellerhead to help introduce and promote their music software products. In September 2007, Stoni was on location in Stockholm, Sweden to shoot a demonstration video to introduce the “ReGroove Mixer” for Reason Version 4.

About Harvard’s Women’s Leadership Conference
Mission Statement - The purpose of the Harvard-Radcliffe Women's Leadership Project is to foster the effective leadership of a diverse group of women. The Project aims to impact both individuals and organizations at various developmental stages in order to nurture meaningful experiences on campus and beyond. The Project is committed to the following services for women: participating in the personal and professional development of women, providing opportunities and access to critical resources, strengthening the network of supportive and positive role models, and encouraging open discussion about the complex issues and difficult choices that many women face.

Each fall, the Harvard-Radcliffe Women's Leadership Project organizes a six-day conference aimed at inspiring and helping undergraduate women to develop their skills and strengths as leaders. For twenty years the Conference has brought female Harvard-Radcliffe students together with successful women in academics, business, media, government, public service, health, science, and the arts. These interactive forums facilitate a dialogue that spans generations and serves to inform young women of the joys and challenges that may lie ahead. The Project also intends to provide conference participants with the opportunity to create networks and relationships to support their ambitions for the future.
