The release of his first mix-tape project ''David E Beats Blvd'' (May 2009) waved very positive reviews with smash singles "Walk In" dedicated to the underdog receiving radio plays(i.e: 89.9 FM in North Carolina) and the song “Her features” ,an ode to women.
