  • (1888PressRelease) August 28, 2014 - HONG KONG - The non-profit Hinrich Foundation (http://www.hinrichfoundation.com) has awarded 28 Global Trade Leader Scholarships for academic year 2014-2015, the most ever for the Foundation. Every scholarship includes full tuition and living support, internships and an export trade related job upon graduation.

    Five scholarships are jointly offered with VF Corporation (NYSE: VFC, http://www.vfc.com), a Fortune 250 apparel manufacturer and retailer, and Global Sources (NASDAQ: GSOL, http://www.globalsources.com) a leading B2B export trade facilitation company.

    Scholars come from Vietnam, China, Myanmar, Laos, India, Bangladesh, the Philippines and the US. They will study at:
    - Hong Kong SAR: Hong Kong Baptist University, Chinese University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Polytechnic University;
    - China Mainland: Tsinghua University;
    - Philippines: De La Salle University and University of the Philippines Los Banos;
    - Thailand: Chulalongkorn University, and;
    - Israel: Tel Aviv University.

    Courses of study are master of science in China business studies, development communication and industrial process engineering; bachelor and master of business administration, and; master of arts in international journalism studies.
